Over the years the club has raised money for local charities and has hosted numerous special events.
October 1980 - MSC club circuit taken to “Bakers West” showroom for one weekend and £149 was raised for the “Motor Trader Charity”
1981 - The club took the club circuit to Burhill first school. For 10p you had 60 seconds to see how far you get around the circuit in 60 seconds. 1st prize donated by Molesey Scalextric Club was a Scalextric Tyrell, 2nd Prize donated by Walchry Motors was a Gallon of Motor Oil.
This raised £28 for the PTA fund which was a good sum as the circuit was only available to the public for 2 hours racing.
September 14 1981 - MSC Surrey cup Charity £30 raised for the Michael McGough Research fund for liver disease in children.
A total of figure £100 was raised during 1981 for the Michael McGough Research fund.

March 21 1982 - MSC 3rd Open Hill Climb £40 raised for the Michael McGough Research fund for liver disease in children.
22 October 1982 - MSC 2nd Rally Cross £19 raised by a raffle for the Nurses fund Ellesmere Hospital
1991 - MSC 24 Hour Endurance Race £900 raised for the “Children for Children” charity. Cheque presented to the Mayor of Elmbridge (councillor Dorothy Mitchell)
6 October 1991 – MSC host European Championship £700 raised for the “Children for
10 April 1992 – Circuit provided and run for the RNID charity ball at the Hurlington club.
£150 raised through the Scalextric circuit (£50,000 raised in total during the evening)
6 October 1992 – MSC 6 Hour endurance race. money raised “Neighbourcare charity for disabled people”
15 July 1993 Molesey Scalextric Club’s endurance race - £1014 raised for the Mayors charities including “The Sarah Brown scanner appeal”
15 July 2001- Grand Charity Race In aid of THE CHILDREN'S TRUST £300 Raised
